Our Stories

Ask any T.T.T. member
…and she can likely tell you a number of stories about campers she's known.
She'll tell you about the changes she saw after just a week at camp.

Ask a former T.T.T. camper…
…about her experience and she will likely bubble over with tales
of campmates, counselors and activities. She might even burst into song! Even women who
attended camp many years ago smile with the warm memories of her T.T.T. adventure.

Staying in touch

Sometimes chapters are able to maintain contact with their campers over the years. For example, Iowa T.T.T. members celebrated with Araceli, a former camper, who graduated with a bachelor's degree in family services.

Facebook friends

Many former campers make contact with T.T.T. through our Facebook page. Some, like this woman, share their memories: "This was the year I came... 1974... still remember a lot. I had the best time ever... Thank you for the memories!!"

Camp magic

Jane DeGroff, a long-time T.T.T. member and a former T.T.T. camp director, tells the story of Lisa, a T.T.T. camper who blossomed during her week away.

Thank you!

Though not expected, T.T.T. members cherish those times when T.T.T. campers and their families express appreciation for the experience. Handwritten notes from campers end up in scrapbooks.
